Drive-By
Six months ago I started with a new crew at work. I began what I have affectionately termed "Drive-by Training".
Maybe the connotations would be better if I called it "Drive-thru Training," but the sense is pretty much the same... I fling instructions over the wall as I walk from my corner to the far corner with the printer and on my way back, I stop to check that no one is an inch away from pulling out all of their hair.
I don't suspect that this method will receive any write-ups in "Top ten ways to build a powerhouse department", but that's okay. I'm making my own top ten lists.
And I almost am surprised to say so, but that new crew makes the list.
