The Forty-Third Day of Winter

Today we didn't work up the nerve to venture out of the house until after 8:00 PM. And at that time, of the errands we had planned to run, only Target welcomed us with open doors.

And what a welcome. The store was nearly empty, and somehow my cooped up kids turned the quick trip into a competitive sport, with Dad's team and Mom's team. Of course, competitive sports require lots of running back and forth and even a few yells across nearly the full length of the store.

Proud parenting moments, for sure.
