Leap Year

A little over a week ago, I had a brilliant idea to post about how people are always asking for an extra day to get more things done because they have way too much to do and this year we got an extra day!

But I've been so busy, I am only just now getting around to post about it.

And ironically, I found the time to do so on the day when we lose an hour.

Sometimes time doesn't march on... I think it skips and jumps and drags its heels and then takes great big leaps.

I was going to do a post about "most creative wedding presents" and include a picture of a plastic centerpiece candy-dish thing that I received, which was apparently intended to hold the decorative glass fruit that came with it. The problem with my special made-in-china glass fruit holder was that it had a pedestal which was attached completely off center. So off-center that it makes you wonder what the pedestal-putter-onner was looking at while he/she was attaching it. So when you put the glass lemon, apple and eggplant in it and set it in the middle of your table, it falls over and drops your glass fruit on the ground.

Anyway, but since we are talking about posting and time and such, I will explain that I got frustrated with my special candy-dish glass-fruit-holder before I managed to get time to take a picture of it for my post, and I commissioned my cousin to saw off the pedestal. That's how time works against us sometimes.
